Hewett Centre hosts many community based programs, training courses and groups on a regular basis from computing classes to yoga, school holiday programs to service groups. Computer Classes
- Basic Computing
- We offer Basic Computing classes from the very beginner to the person wishing to advance their computer skills
- A suite of laptops are provided, presently with Window 7, Windows 10 and Office 2013.
- Classes are small and guided by an instructor who is supportive.

- Is intended for people to develop or refresh their skills.
- The course covers the basic functions.

- $12 per session paid to the instructor

Funerals
- Simplicity Funerals regularly use the Hewett Centre to hold funerals for families who desire a tranquil setting to celebrate the life of their loved one.
- Many families use the Hewett Centre after the service to come together over tea and coffee or a meal.
- A number of catering options are available to accommodate a range of family needs.
Volunteering at the Hewett Centre

Service Groups at the Hewett Centre
- The Hewett Centre is proud to see that the following service groups use the Centre for their regular meetings.
- Rotary Gawler/Light – every Tuesday 6.30pm to 8.30pm
- Kiwanis Gawler – First and Third Tuesday of the Month
- Kiwanis Hewett/Roseworthy – Second Tuesday of the Month
- Toastmasters – Second and Fourth Tuesday of the Month
Counselling Services

Hewett Community Church of Christ
- The Hewett Centre is the home of the Hewett Community Church of Christ
- Sunday Services are held weekly at 10am.
- Children’s Church held during the church service.
